“STELLA” is a writing desk inspired by both a victorian era ladies writing desk as well as a post-modern european secretaries desk. Her wood, Sapele, mirrors that of classic hardwoods that were previously used in fine furnishings and her brushed brass detailing highlights her natural features with a classic tone. She also has small specialized drawers and cubbies similar to that of the furniture she is styled after. She is then brought into the 21st century with her larger laptop charging shelf directly below the floating desk top.
Maximized sleek storage capability is best exhibited with the addition of a file drop located between the cabinet and the floating desktop to create the perfect nook for any important documents.
Once you peak inside her sliding door cabinet “STELLA” showcases all of her hidden compartments and drawers. Here the bright grain of her Sapele is again beautifully contrasted with subtle brushed brass inserts.
